Nestled in the heart of Wadi Hadramut, the Wadi Terra project is the chosen proposal for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Earth Architecture Institute. Inspired by Yemen's rich architectural heritage and natural landscapes, this design blends traditional techniques and materials with modern innovations to create a space that honors the cultural and ecological fabric of the region.
The project reimagines traditional walled gardens and sustainable water systems, integrating them with a design that emphasizes natural ventilation, passive cooling, and locally sourced materials. With a focus on renewal and respect for the environment, Wadi Terra seeks to inspire harmony between people, architecture, and nature, while preserving the unique identity of the region.
